Google Sitemap for an OSCommerce Site

I have a site developed in OSCommerce. I need to create a Google sitemap, is it recommeded to use an OSCommerce module for google sitemap or use a 3rd party tool to create the sitemap and upload it on the server? Which OSCommerce module should I use if at all I require to use?

Secondly, I have already tried to create the sitemap using a 3rd party tool but it just gave me few links. I understand that this may be due to the URLs, the URLs of the product pages are not unique and they cannot be changed at this point of time, so is there any effective way to create an XML sitemap, in this scenario?
