Google sitemap edit "Pending Verification" >

    Anyone know how to fix this? It's been verified for a month and few days ago this edit turned up. Does it need to be fixed or just let it be. I don't want it to effect future google indexing.

    Verification status: Pending verification
    Last attempt Apr 29, 2009: Our system has experienced a temporary problem.

    Thanks for any help i can get.

    Are you saying that the status used to be "OK" and it changed to "Pending Verification" for no reason? That should only happen if you submit or resubmit a sitemap.

    That's correct. Edit says there's a problem with googles system currently. Other sitemaps i have also went to pending verification but returned to Ok status. This one hasn't yet and been a few days so was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

    Problem Solved. Used HTML Version. Meta Tag wouldn't work for some reason.
