Has anyone seen the link that Google has started displaying in results. Generally, you will see them if you search of a particular organisation. I searched Google for ages and found Google Sitelinks - Google say that its fully automatic and based on the popularity / indexability of your site. Its been driving me crazy for ages - and now it seems Google have come up with something a little flaky - i.e. there is no consistency. There are some popular sites that dont have it - and some not so popular ones that do?? Ive looked at the markup on many of the sites and some seem very similar in layout and XHTML / CSS compliance. Anyone know anything about this?
What links are you talking about cms wizzard? If you have a url of that particular serp then paste it here.
I think he meant: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=47334&topic=8523 cms_wizzard, i think the google algo determines this by looking at both the navigation system and the inbound links..
I've also seen sitelinks under my domain name when i do a search for particular keyword. But these links are the the old pages. What are the techniques to have google remove these sitelinks? Any idea?
