    Hello Guys,

i am facing a serious problem regarding my website (bestmobilestore.co.uk), it was having a good ranking at google.co.uk on various keywords some days back, but suddenly the ranking got down to almost last page of the search engine. But, luckily it came back to its ranking after 20 days... but now, again it disappear

i've surveyed a lot on this but failed to know the reason for these mishappenings... i have found a strange code in the source code of the home page of my website as follows:

    ( <meta name="google-site-verification" content="zKyQCqwcLMc9Olah6BNwEZE5BLqWBoUgmZy5cYTH-h4" /> )

please suggest me about this code, what it is and how it can be inserted in source code without admin's permission.

    looking for quick responses...

    Thanks.

    John Brown

That meta code is used by Google webmaster tools to confirm that the user who has listed that site in google webmaster tools is the owner of (or in control of) the site.

    Yes, vagrant is right.
You may remove it and confirm your ownership by adding the site in GWT again with your verification code.

It hasn't have anything to do with SERP though.
