Is there any rhyme or reason to the order in which Google lists the pages it has indexed of your site when using the site: function? Mine seem to be very random - not date uploaded, PR, page updated or anything else I can think of.

Also having done the search site function to see indexed pages listed, there is a visit/date reported like this: 2 visits - 4/21/06 or like this: 3 visits - Jan 17

Which visits are they referring to? Those numbers don't tie with my visitors stats or with the number of times I myself clicked through. Anyone know?

I think that is the number of visitors Google has referred to that page in the last one or two days. It will be shown only if you are logged in to your Google Sitemap account.
