google site maps

    can some one help me getting google sitemap generating desktop software application, i used to have one with me 2 years back but due to system crash i lost that, so please advice me on that

    hi all, I dont know much about sitemaps and have a question. I read a lot of different stories about sitemaps and sitemap generating software etc.. i want to make sure I understand the right thing.

    I went to an online sitemap generator and generated a sitemap for my small site. I added the xml file to my site and liked to it from one page. Is that it? Or are there other things I should do?

    thats the xml file which u need to upload with the html files of ur site on server and then add that site in your google web matser tool's account then u need to get it varified
