    There's really no one script that works for every website. However some scripts like SMF for example have a mod that can create a sitemap for you. Does your website use a popular open source script?

    if they have vb forums then there is a mod which allows it to make sitemaps online.

    its very good. but if its an ordinary website. there is plenty of softwares to make sitemaps, but it takes pretty long time.
