Hi guys, You know those google site links some websites gets? How would you advise www.frenchholidaydirectory.co.uk should get them? I think they add a little professionalism to a google search! Cheers for the help, RJP1
Google does it automatically. Or not. They have never said what the conditions are that triggers sitelinks, and I think they'll keep it that way, because they don't want webmasters manipulating the algorithym. It seems to be predicated on a clean clear linking structure on a site that has a bit of 'history' - but that's merely based on my observation, any other suggestions along these lines will likewise be guesses.
So far, we see this only on the "First" SERP and on sites that have traffic hitting many pages in the site. I got one for one client and when it dropped in the SERPs, it went away. Since then, no luck duplicating it.
Rank 1st for a specific keyword and you will get it. They will pull the sitelink info based on your navigation structure. I do know theres a sitelink section in the webmaster tools, so maybe you can edit them once you get them? Not too sure though. Rank 1st for something and find out.
you cant do nothing to edit the sitelinks for any website , thats automatical stuff created by mister G
you need to do more than rank first, you need to be clearly THE authority site on the matter for a good while before they come
@ trustnobodynever, as a matter of fact, you can choose which links are live through the webmater tools page. I read that you can choose which ones are published, minimum of 3 max of 8 site links. Cheers for all the advice, RJP1
No.. you can choose to *block* (or remove) links you don't want as Sitelinks, but you can not choose what links to *add* to the Sitelinks. And if you have figured that out, by all means, share with us.
Mr.G will do it automatically it depend on their analysis whether the certain web should get it or not as a read on their journal.
