I noticed that someone down at the Google office in Mountainveiw, did a site command against my website. Anyone have any ideas why it was done?

Dont, worry much about it. Someone just wants to see how many pages from your site are indexed by google:)

    Seems strange to me.
    Why pick out this site?
I suppose it could be an employee looking for something for themselves, rather than a professional reason.

Don't worry, it's just a command link link command, that won't be affecting bad.
If some one has installed seoquake software in it he can see the amount of pages indexed for your site in Google and from there he could make click to check which pages are indexed for your website in Google.
    Nothing to worry.
