Google sitemap is use for traffic management only or anything else?

Site map is mainly use for the index of your site as well as the for the ranking of the site.

 

Does anyone know how to install a sitemap to a wordpress site do i have to use ftp client to put it into the root folder ??

There is no special google site map tool.You can submit site map either XML format or Atom on google webmaster tools.You can generate and get it from site generators.

 

Google site map create from XML file. There is no specific tool for generating it. Google webmaster tool is another tool which can be used. It helps to index your site.

 

Create a xml site map for your site using free online xml-sitemap generator tools, and upload the same in the Google webmaster tool.
