Did Google recently adjust their search results?

I've been receiving over 2,000 hits from them per day and now that has dropped to 1,000 per day. Has anyone else seen such fluctuations?

If not, what else could have caused this?

 

Google adjust the results EVERY day, however they usually are little changes, looks like one of those little changes could be hurting you.

Do the usual things (content, links, etc) and you should get back on track

 

I think thats some good advice. One of my large sites got SLAMMED. I have no real idea why. I have good unique content, thousands of one way relevant links, and the on page optimization is good.

Looks likes I need to tweak a few things. But I think there may be a new filter, maybe it has something to do with affiliate links or something.

I plan on doing a Press Release on the site and keep focusing only relevant one way links.

 

My site suddenly dropped more than 50% in google search traffic a week ago. It's ridiculous.

 

A lot of people are seeing the exact same thing. I've seen a site sitting at #1 for the past 5 years just get yanked to #65, thankfully its not my site.

 

I think the new emphasis is on fresh content and backlinks.

 

it does affect me little by little every day, but overall, it doesn't change a lot.

 

I know one of my new sites hit the rankings this week. Possibly all the new sites hit the ranks and could be the cause of so many older sites losing SERP position.
