Google shows up the backlink exactly after 3 weeks

Hi friends,

I had a one way link on one of my friend's blog homepage which has a PR5. I was monitoring (everyday since I got that backlink), in google by link:mydomain.com, it never showed up

Today morning, exactly after 3 weeks, when I was having my routine check, this backlink started showing in google

So normally it takes around 3-4 weeks for a backlink to show in google, is it ?

 

Hello lucilla i found that its your general thinking.because its depend on Google how much time it will take.

 

You can only see the backlinks in google after the backlinks update. And there's no exact range of time before you can see your backlinks. It's all depends on googles backlinks update.

 

it really depends.. its up to google when to update backlinks..

 

I have checked my backlinks today, my backlinks are updated (increased) but my page rank dropped (argggggh..)

 

In my opinion after caffeine update ... Google will update it frequently

 

It's good that Google is already updating and counted some of your links in 3 weeks time.
