    Hi,

    I am working on http://www.discountcityhotels.com. I have written title on home page: London Hotels, Hotels in London & London Hotel Deals at Discount Price

    But, when i search with any keywords(London Hotels, Hotels in London, Accommodation in London, London Accommodation in London etc), Google shows title only "London Hotels".

    Please suggest me how can i resolve it.

    Thanks,
    Anna

    Login to your webmaster account and check "fetch a googlebot" that whether your title show properly or not, if it is not showing properly then edit your title and click index button, and if it is showing properly then again click index button. After couple of days when google crawl your site then you can see your title properly..

    Sometime it will take 3 months to fix this issue so don't worry.

    There are number of signals Google take into consideration for displaying title in SERP like anchor text linking on that page, title used in high PR directory sites etc.. most of the time it happens when Google thinks that actual title is not that much relevant. Can you check it out.

    It's true, I've noticed it too on my sites, now we can't rely on our page title to always show up in google results as we write them.
    I've noticed it maybe a couple of months ago already.

    1) Sometimes, if you are listed in DMOZ (ODP), the search engines will display snippets of text about your site taken from them instead of your description meta tag. You can force the search engine to ignore the ODP information by including a robots meta tag in your header like this:
    <meta name="robots" content="noodp,noydir" />
    Code (markup):
    The "NOODP" robots meta tag is fully supported by Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.

    I would suggest changing the comma to the ACSSII &#44; sometimes it can be just a simple read error. Although I did not notice any issues when I quickly searched.
