Hi all.... 20 days before god good positions on many keywords on Google, for many of keywords. Suddenly on monday when I check ranking on morning all ranking shows a month old ranking and position. Previously site shows internal page for particulars, and after a efforting a lot I got the position on first page for many of keywords and it was there on second page for most of keywords. I was efforting for the second page keyword to bring them on first page. And suddenly this happen to me. I m not useing any blackhat, no link spam, not buying links... It shows exact previous month results with the inner page. why it is so...let me know if anybody know the solution. Thanks in advance.....
Would have nothing to do with the date or timing , in other words there is no connection between last months result and present ranking, even though this may appear to be the case, results change daily, can be many reasons for this especially in a competitive keyword field.
yup i too am facing similar problem for the past week it showed for virus codes my sit as the 34th yesday it was 15th today it's again back to 65(earlier 2 weeks back it was 73)
a lot of people say, that google tries the pages, to see how to rank them, so he throws them on the first page or first couple of pages and leaves them there for a day or two, and then gets them where they are suposed to be. And then they start their slow upturn to the #1 (if they are SEO-d). So don't worry about that, just work on it long-term
Yep it's commonly referred to as the sandbox in the webmaster community. New sites get a temporary free pass or ranking boost. Then after a while the site usually gets pushed down in the rankings. To fight this all you can really do is to be patient and keep getting more quality back links on a consistent basis. Also keep adding fresh content to your website.
but the site itself is 12 month old..and i m promoting it from since last 8 months than how it is possible.
Friend We can maintain Our ranking with only Strong back links for targeted keywords. and I think, everyday google is updating database, so its harder to maintain good ranking in google. you can best try with quality content + strong back links. and also Depends on your competition of keywords. Eric
