In webmaster tool I can find a tool which shows the sitelinks for my site. I haven't done anything extra but now it appears. I heard of authority websites or websites that comes top in SERP for a particular keyphrase get sitelinks from google. But my website is not ranked at top. Is there any change in google's policy? I found this one http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=47334 Can anyone put more light on it?
Google is giving them to most sites in webmaster tools. Not all of them are seeing them in serps. Google has never used the phrase 'authority site' in any context.
I agree with the above, its called 'Site Links' and suddenly i have got site links as well for two my company websites which was ranking #1 for a long time on a specific keyword. even though i still can edit the site links in the webmasters tools.
