Google showing same description on all indexed pages of my site

Hi,

Google is showing the same description on all of the indexed pages of my site. All I know is that there were 2 places where I entered same "Meta Description". One was in All-in-one-seo and other was under theme options.

Before, I tried it only in All-in-one-seo, but my homepage was not showing any description at all in google search. Now that I entered the description in theme option as well, same description is showing up on all indexed pages. There are around 7 pages indexed as site is fairly new.

Does someone know whats going on?

I think this means that you need to make sure to add meta descriptions to each of your pages. It sounds like the robots are just taking it from your home page, and storing that as the description for all pages site wide.

 

I had been adding title, description and keywords on all posts under all in one seo. Not sure whats going one. I has to be bad for seo right?

make sure youre meta phrases are as follow to terms of use in Google: meta tags etc...

 

Yeah they are .. but every page should have a different description.

 

I agree meta tag and keyword phrase every page different from the home page URL
