"Google Server Error" with search engine script

    I am using the free search engine script from digitalpoint for the search functionality on my site. About 40% of the time, I am getting the following error:

    "Google Server Error"

    Has anyone faced/noticed this problem? Any solutions?

    I have been using the script for a couple of years but ever so often that happens. Happened for me last night. Give it some time and it should go away. It seems Google servers have been overloaded lately.

    Thanks for the reply. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one facing the problem.

    I was wondering if I should do a direct implementation of the Google API script instead of going through digitalpoint - just in case that solves it.
