Hi, I know google updates it SERPs daily basis, but I was just wondering if anyone noticed a big change on the following datacenters : 72.14.207.99 72.14.207.104 Do you think these results will replicate out to all other datacenters?? Thanks
Yeah there is a serps update going on, at least for my keywords. Just sit and wait some days for the final results. Now they are jumping all over the result pages. Guess it has to do with a pr update that is getting closer.
I am getting today listing on 89th pos. for "software development" for http://www.cygnet-infotech.com Before 15 days it was 46th, Before 7 days it was 178th. Felling good listing is coming up now.
One of the datacenters you noted above is running Google's new "Dewey" algorithm. See here. And unless there are any major bugs, "Dewey" will probably spread to all datacenters. Read more about "Dewey" here.
Thanks for head this up However, how do you know that datacenters is using new "Dewey" algo? Just curious. I've read that page already and it's a good read. two thumbs up.
I can't find the url to the page at the moment, but Matt Cutts did request webmasters note any irregular/unexpected results with those two datacenters. If I find the URL, probably buried at WebmasterWorld, I'll post it.
Yep, my rankings are jumping around like crazy. I hope things settle down and my good rankings are maintained.
I track 70 keywords. About half of them change in the rankings every single day, day after day, month after month. Nothing new there. That's the normal Google way.
