Google SERPS Switch?

    Hey everyone,

Here's a bit about my site first:

    20,400 pages indexed
    Links in google: 59
    PR4
    2-4k uniques daily

I'm curious about a pattern I've noticed with my SERPS in Google.
They seem to change every 2 weeks or so and it's been happening
    for a few months.

First, my index page ranks highly for very competitive terms,
and Google also ranks some of my other pages highly for their
appropriate keywords. Also, the other results I see are less
    spammy than usual.

Then when 2 weeks pass, Google switches to spam-filled results
that contain many descriptions saying things like, "this account
has been banned" - so why is it there? It must be quite old..

ALSO in the 2nd 2 weeks, Google moves my homepage ranking
down by 1 page every several days or so. Plus, they remove all
my other pages from the index and my homepage ranks for their
terms instead, even when my homepage is irrelevant to that term.

So, I am frustrated by it because not only are the results irrelevant
for everyone searching, but they affect my sales, etc.

Has anyone else noticed a similar pattern? After the 2nd 2 weeks
are up I generally get returned to my rightful places, and the cycle
    repeats itself.

Google will not manually drop your rank. It's completely the function of their algorithm. Maybe that's the reason your competitors do better than you, or you are losing your backlinks.
