Google SERPs not going beyond the fifth or sixth page in IE and Firefox respectively when set to 100 results per page.

    Anybody notice this?

It always does this for me also, I figured it's a bug or something but never thought much of it.

Depends on what you search for.

    &filter=0

Add that to the end of the string in the address bar. It disables the duplicate page filter. Should get you to 1000.

It's pointless to do it though because surfers leave the filter on and wouldn't see the filtered sites anyway.

It has always struck me as odd that Google tells you it has so many million results, but you really can't see more than 1,000. I had written about that before at http://aplawrence.com/foo-web/google-promises.html

I want to know what the 216,387,483rd result is, darn it! Don't brag if you can't deliver!
