Here is something I don't get with Google. I purchase text links for a keyword like "widget review site" from several websites so I can get ranking for that keyword under my website, yet their website ends up coming up for those keywords within a few weeks and my site doesn't even come up. Any reason for this
You need a more varied link-profile. Get some links to your site that have other link text. That should help.
