Google SERP Copetition is no more in search result

    Since last two days i observed that Google have stop showing SERP competition in their search result. Initially i thought it may be temporary but when i checked search result on other data center, it was disappeared.

    My observation:

    - Google have stop showing competition in US data center (Google.com US results)
    - Google is still showing competition in UK data centers (Google.co.uk result)

    do you experienced the same? do you have any idea about this result?

    As search competition is one of the important factor for measuring toughness of the keywords in optimizing the website. I hope we will see that data in near future :)

    In google.pl I can still see SERP competition.

    By the way - it is not an important SEO factor. You real competitors are 20 pages from page 1 and 2 . The stronger they are the more competetive keyword it is.

    @linkbuilder85 @simley i am not agree with your comment, Based on my experience i can say that; when ever you start working on any project you need to study keyword competition. Lets say you working on "web hosting" keyword, than you need to search how competitive the keyword is? to find this, SEO usually search in Google with "keyword name" and SERP competition is the factor which is counted as a keyword competition. Now do the same for "web hosting services" This keyword will have less competition as compare to "web hosting" keyword.

    The conclusion is: it is more easier to achieve top 10 ranking for "web hosting services" keyword as compare to "web hosting". I hope you understand the importance of SERP competition now !!

    Maybe in the example you gave us it is a truth. But it is not a principle. Competing sites will only inform You how many competitros You have, not how strong they are.

    Let me explain You this - What is easier to beat 100 flys or 1 lion?

    I noticed it too, and I think the problem is caused by the addon "SEO for FireFox" because when I disabled it, the competition data showed up.
