I have 320,000 competitors and I am on top # 5. I want to move to top #3. Already I have done some backlinks.

So, As experienced SEO, what do you all suggest to get top # 3?
(For an example, 50 blog comments, 50 Aritcle submissions etc) :p

Hope, I will get good suggestions here... and I will implement the best one... :p

you can't say that. You have to keep going because it all depends on the competitors above you, from where their link are coming.

If you use article marketing properly I dont think you would require that many articles to reach to the top. Just write and submit good articles to article directories, 1 article every week and I think it should be enough to take you to the top if you use you keyword as your text link in the articles.

get one decent link from a good on-topic site ;)

article submissions, blogspam, splogs etc are all old hat now, and rankings built on this stuff are not there in caffeine to the same extent from what we can see. so put the time in, find a good related site, build a relationship and get one good link.

    it'll be a +2 or 3 on it's own.

Well article submission might be old but still very useful than anything else. My friend with only 1 good article written and submitted to some bid article directories can not only give you thousands of visitors but also loads of free high quality links.

And the thing you are talking about is very time taking process and still it does not guarantee you that you will get links and also getting loads of links in this fashion is only possible if you have all the time in the world to do that relation building and stuff.

Get quality back links from quality sites and promote your site by writing articles. You need to prefer best article sites to promote your article.

I will spy on my competitor. Use a backlinkwatch.com to see where they get their links and if it is possible to have a link there then make more and more backlinks. ;)

I agree with you friend. Analyze your competitor site and try to get links as like them - if possible.
I always suggest you to get some quality backlinks from high PR sites. Consider about your content also. It should be fresh and unique.

    Thank you..:)
