I am not mentioning the email IDs here but I just received an email with a subject "Link Exchange Request"

    Sent from:
    Sent to:
    Mailed by: gmail.com

But my ID is "Jahangir.agha@gmail.com" and my email ID is not showing anywhere in there

Also, the site which is offered for link exchange is not related to any of my site..

What do you think is it Google's mistake?

It's just spam sent using gmail, just like hotmail, yahoo, and any other free email accounts.

Marking it as spam will save you.

Do that noble deed immediately for your own good and conveying Google to mark that e-mail as spam.

but my concern is that if it is spam why my email ID is not showing in there?

It is clearly showing that it was sent to so how it came to ME?

Don't fall on this, high probability of spam... and it has nothing to do with you so just ignore it.
