Google searches

My first and last name are not very common so when a person googles my first and last name, the results are almost all me. Most of the things on google or either from facebook or forums. I have gone to the forums and facebook and deleted everything with my name on it. I do not want people to see what I do by writing my name in google.

How often does Google update the searches because I have removed everything with my name months ago but they still appear in google searches.

    what is your name ?

Because if you're talking about fb then it work not more then 1 day, you can use the search engine block feature too.

For some of the pages that have been indexed your content may never disappear as often some historical pages are retained. A local politician found out the hard way.

remember that your sites have to change on every of the main internet servers around the world, and that sometimes archive files of the website may still report your name. there are actually companies out there that are experts at deleting traces of an event or a persons name etc, you may want to get advice from them, or alternatively, spread some positive press about yourself on main sites so it over shadows any negative info. Alternatively dont talk yourself up on face book etc and the engines wont find you.

You can set all your information on Google and Facebook private... eventhough someone finds you they will not get access to your information. Or you can simply delete your accounts in Google, Facebook or any other network that you want to.

maybe the reason that some of your old posts that contains your name are still indexed, you may ask to re-indexed the pages via contacting Google webmaster directly

    kk thanks everyone.

My facebook profile has already been removed from facebook and there are just a couple groups that I commented on that still is there in google cache. It will be a couple weeks until everything gets deleted.
