Did anyone noticed?????? If we paste some site's URL in google toolbar's search point and then click on search we will find different result from our search with site colon ( site: ).... Can anyone tell that why is it so???????
Actually! I have experienced many times that same site been shown as indexed through site: but if I paste the same url without site colon it some time does not show that site as indexed! It is really weird result.....isnt it???
Of course they are different commands when you search for the url alone and site:url, thus it's definitely different results.
I have seen different results from google bar compared to going directly to google. Also the google bar results are different than all the IPs that McDar's list of google databases show. This has only been for the last month or less that I have noticed and just doing normal searches not site: searches.
Actually I mean that if you are searching for specific page with same URL if you paste into google search box you would get different result than if search with site. like: http://www.google.com/search?q=http...avclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enPK272PK272 http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...w.cert-vista.com/646-362.htm&btnG=Search&aq=f now what everyone say?????
I am not sure about it, but I do use both the site: operator and the full URL search to check my site. The site: operator tell you the pages which are being indexed my google. I no longer check my site with this operator, its because if it show that, about of 400 pages, 356 pages are indexed. Then it does not mean that, all the 356 pages are showing up in the search results. On the other hand, if I search for in google for my site URL, then I see a list of about 18 some times less or greater. When I check all these pages in search results for main keyword or page title, they show up. I am not sure about it, but I check the pages from my site which really are included in search results via searching for my site URL
