I was reading an interesting post earlier about layouts and where to put Google search. Unfortunately I can't find it. But I was wondering about this. PS I think the previous post said something about a 336 layout or something.
I don't really use the Google search bar as in my expierence it has a very low rate of return... That said when I do use it I place it above the fold - sometimes at the same level as my logo but justified to the right. I wonder if others have had better success with it...
The most I've made was $2.47 (300+ queries, 23 clicks). I positioned it to the right of my header (top, right sidebar) on my home page.
Yes in one day. But look at the clicks. I wish they paid for queries. I have an entertainment site with lots of traffic (people looking for celebs).
Still - I'd love to have a high traffic site that I could work with... I have one that I could build up a lot but don't have time for it right now
