google search turned to crap or what!

i know google is fine for searching for say "bendigo cinemas" because its a place and theres only one bendigo cinema, so all the info appears as you want.
but i run a unique content website for a celebrity, and seriously, the search results have turned to crap. i had first page for over 2 years under search terms of the celebrity name. theres nothing wrong with my website seo and load of backlinks. i have read up on what google likes and dislikes and read up on DP members ideas etc. but theres nothing more i can do to my site to make it better. not only has my site dropped to page 5, some days 6 or 8 on google.com, then google.com.au gone completely. whats shits me off is the most is, when i type in the celebrity name, google shows the celebrity on the right which is good and the imdb, google images etc. but under that had the celebrity twitter, facebook, which yeah, ok, thats fine, its the official twitter but some random fake facebook. under them is the celebrity tagged in the website justjaredjr and other related searches at justjaredjrs website. now this fills the rest of the first and half of the second page before the tumblr crap starts, all tages, pages and what not. then a few news sites that are not even up to date with this celeb. so then comes fake facebook pages again, after this a few sites appear to do with this celebrity, most sites are not up to date with the celeb, some half finished, closed, or just have a banner. now come on, i put 110% into my non profit site and get kicked in the ass. one site which is 2 pages ahead of mine really cracks me up, its a site that was to do with this celeb, but the last 3 months, its titled "I will change a new url very soon" and the page just has links to random websites which has nothing to do with this celeb and like 2 backlinks. seriously, how does google rank these shit ass sites ahead of mine. sorry, just some times lately, google just makes me want to give up trying. i wont, but, just feel like scrapping me whole server sometimes. you put that much money into everything, and do everything perfect, and now feels like its all for nothing. come on, i dont even make money, its a non profit site with over 600 unique users to my main domain, this is not counting sub-domain pages. ahh, and the change of google images has effected my galley in a big way, now dropped back in ranking, no point yeah. i know google is fine with other search results, but come on, certain searches like celebs has really turned to crap. bring back google in 2010. anyways, got it off me chest. cheers. p.s my site ranks fine on Bing!

 

There is so many google update is going on check you site and follow new google quality guideline or Yes these day google SERP is not showing some quality result.

 

What sort of backlinks have you got? They might not be as good as you think, if you bought them from a sales person...

I mean, you don't "deserve" to rank anymore than the next guy does.. If you think BS sites are ranking about you, why don't you analize their backlinks, pick out the best ones, and go get the same back-links for yourself?

Also, what kind of ROI are you expecting from a site that's not monetized? Most people run "not-for-profit" sites, but usually it's not on purpose

It is a great search engine for business. Free traffic is getting to be a thing of the past. I recently pulled out the wallet to promote a drone at uavbase and my traffic was awesome. Ad Sense shot right up also. Pay or be in oblivion mostly. Or be well established like DP.

 

initially, when google launched, the end-user felt like he/she could explore the world, "spy" anyone or anything, and dig into the web.
Nowadays, the more google customizes and personalize your results, the less you feel like getting what you really want, this is sad, enterprises give you what they want, no matter what you are looking for.

I got local area online store. but when I write it down on google, in 1st place came up for domain checker, whois or something website like that...

my original site,.. I can't find it on first place,.. GOOGLE SUCK NOW...since they do too much update.

Yes that's right it has turned into cra... In my country all you can find now is facebook pages and some other Whois junk. For example, I need wooden doors for my house I type in the keyword and it should show me the companies or company websites who makes these wooden doors, but instead of showing me the companies who makes them Google shows me some twitter accounts, facebook and some price compare websites. But I don't need to compare prices for plastic doors or doors from steel. I need wooden doors.

I this is just one keyword I am not even gonna start talking about other searches.
I think it's shi... If I want to find something I have to crawl up to page 8 until I get what I need.
