Im not sure if anyone has come across this problem before or if there is a way to fix it. But I have placed my title tag as every normal human being, when indexed Yahoo & Bing show's fine but on Google it only shows my website name. Any idea on how I can suggest to google to grab my Title meta data?
https://developers.google.com/search-appliance/documentation/50/metadata I hope this link will help to get answer of your query.
That should but also create a Google Webmaster profile and add your site to it. It will help you with a lot of things like tracking hits, your Title and a whole bunch of things, very useful tool
what platform you are using ? wordpress, joomla or html ? if joomla and wordpress you can install plugin/module for SEO. in HTML you can set in <title>Your Title meta data</title>
I suggest you closely follow Google Updates as there have been a few updates to how titles are handled by Google over the past couple of years. Google will rewrite title tags that are too long, for example, or are low quality (such as irrelevant). Check your title tag length (try to make it a maximum of 70 chars) and don't stuff it with keywords, instead write one for humans rather than search engines.
Wait for Google to update the cached copy of your site in its index. Google might just be displaying the old title of the page. Let Google know that the some part of the page has been updated in Google webmaster tools using "Fetch as Google bot" option.
