Hello, I was wondering, when I do a Google Search for my keyword phrase I get this: Results 1 - 10 of about 28,900,000 Does this mean 28,900,00 searches were done for this keyword phrase an hour, day, week, month year or all-time? If my site get's to page 1 for this keyword phrase will I get the possibility of 28 plu million hits for that keyword phrase?
Hello... No... it means that 28,900,000 websites are competing for that "keyword or phrase" you typed in. There is no time limits only competition and if your not in the top 10-20 max chances are you wont be found laterz malcolm
You're completely off-kilter on this. That's the number of RESULTS - not the number of searches. It means you've got 28,900,000 other results to get ahead of to reach the no.1 spot.
Thanks, Im on page 4 for my keyword phrase search. So I am ahead of 28, 899,920ish other sites competing for that phrase I guess. lol. I just added a blog and the ability for readers to leave comments about my articles. I hope it jumps to page one sometime soon!
Remember, there's probably not just one keyword phrase that you want to be competitive for. People you hope will find you do not necessarily type in the same thing to google Optimize for more than just 1 phrase to get some varied and broader traffic
Simply go to Google and search for "a", and see how many results are there. Now do you think that many people search for the letter A in Google everyday?
