** Google Search Results Increases??

    Hey guys what does it mean when you see a dramatic shift increase or decrease in number of search results for a particular keyword? For example the keyword phrase "canon g3 powershot camera" jumps to 25 millions total search results and now as of july it is only 3.9 million results. What cause the big shift up or down in number of results? thanks

    there may be certain things or updates going on canon powershot camera.., so suddently that keyword might got a hype in search results.., OR else there may be sale (season ending offers).., If you look once the trend of the keyword in Google Insights.., you may get some info.., just check are there any updates on product on the particular period when you saw a hype?

    It happens becos of regular Google algorithm update, it may be a major update like panda, penguin or some minor updates.. Keep working on your keywords, and follow the rules by google to get it back.
