Google Search Results - Google Places Concern

    Hello!

I just recently ran a search on the name of a business and all of the top results were associated with the business, so everything was pretty normal on that end. However, on the right-hand side of the page was a huge Google Local result for ANOTHER business. Why would this happen and what can be done about it? I've never seen anything like this before. Any suggestions?

Perhaps its an add by Google. Can you share a screenshot of the huge Google Local result you saw on the right-hand side of the page. Does this local result appears under a map?

    Hello,

In December 15 2014 I ran a new website (eshop) and suggested it to google via webmaster tools. All 42 urls were indexed. The domain name is NOT a common word so I think it should show my website on top of google's search. When I type my site's full url e.g. xxxx.com it is ok and website appears at the very beginning, but when I type only xxxx (only domain name without an end) the search engine does not show anything while other search engines (bing, yahoo) does. I checked my site with seo tools but it shows that it has not been banned by google. Maybe you know where is a problem and could give me some advice?
    Thank you
