hi whenever i do specific search in google, my website pops up 2-3 place, now when i did today for same keyphrase, i dont see my website at all ! and it happened before once, all of the sudden... BOOM! it's gone, and next day it re-appeared again what can i do to keep it from happening, my competitors website is there all the time how come mine gets disappeared?
no, not .. dec of 2006, but it's been in google for some time and it has PR2, it has bunch of backlinks google Indexed Pages: 566 | Backlinks: 35 msn Indexed Pages: 1 | Backlinks: 0 yahoo Indexed Pages: 81 | Backlinks: 5,309 astalavista Indexed Pages: 83 | Backlinks: 2,950 alltheweb Indexed Pages: 36 | Backlinks: 1,580
My domain is started in May 2005, and made a big change of the website in Sep 2006. Still has the same problem with you, I have a backlink for google 65, and yahoo more than 3000. However, the backlinks are mostly from directories and forums, and now I'm thinking of getting some backlinks from similar popular websites.
I have the same problem, my site disappeared for 9 weeks then came back for 6 days and disappeared again for 3 days, came back again for 4 days and just disappeared again. It's unreal i don't know whats going on
I have seen some similar results with a few of my sites. One day I check a keyword phrase and I am on page 4, the next day page 1 then the next day maybe page 8 or 9, then there have been times when I didnt see it anywhere for two days straight - then boom the next day back to page 3. Very strange
Some in other threads have suggested that it was because the content was changing. This has not been the case with me as I am always adding new content/pages, but dont often change the actual index/home page Others have suggested that it is because backlinks are being removed and added, but that doesnt make sense to me. The changes are too quick. I honestly cannot say, or even guess, why this is happening unless it is because of Google working on changes to the algo.
I keep pretty good track of all my pages and their SERPs and have noticed that things like that happen frequently. As Google has mentioned they do changes and updates more frequently now and these are some of the effects when they change things. Also check your page on different data centers which can also be the cause. You could be pulling data off a data center that still has old or new data from your site at times.
