I was doing some research when accidentally found a site with no content other than a google search box and I'm wondering if this is allowed.

the domain is www . 01-800 . net <= spaced to avoid generate traffic if that is what they need for this trick

at first glance I thought it was a new dowmain adding a free search facility but nope.

It was registered back on december 2005 and it has a publisher id:
    pub-1329400533882425

Ironically they are offering also "search this site", what can we search if the domain has nothing?

I would report it to Google but I ignore how, and if that is a valid tactic but it smells like TOS break

    what do you think about?

actually the TOS stated that no ads may be placed on the non-content page, but none of them stated that search box concern as an ads.

Ah, then maybe is valid, since there is no contextual ads, only the search box
