Is it essential to have a good hosting server to rank better in Google Search Engine? [Hosting server with High Bandwidth (kbps), High Down Time & High Data Transfer.] Please suggest me.

Not particularly... but they would need to be up most of the time to be able to be spidered. :)

Thats a little bit global question isnt it? You could start here:
    http://forums.seochat.com/showthread.php?p=130468

Also try to keep your topics detailed. The forum is called Google Search Engine so we know you would like to know something about that. Try for example picking webhosting & seo?

Pretty good, for a start, you just dont need this bit IMO
Also, that list only deals with onsite optimization, look up 'offsite' (link popularity generally)

What is mod_rewrite? How do you rewrite this dynamic page address[http://www.bmuniversity.com/bmu/site_coursedetails.php?courseid=8] to a static web page address.

Really no offense, but try to make new topics with new questions, and try to keep topics small and detailed. I came back to this topic to see what webhosting and Google had related to eachother, and now you ask if 5700 links are enough?

Some info about what a Mod_rewrite thing does can be found here:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=18875

Who says there are 900 links to your website? Google? Well Google only gives a selection of links. Try MSN or Yahoo to see the 'real' amount.

A website listed in Engines is not NEARLY enough. Like I said in my first post.... SEO is a complete industry. It wouldnt be an industry if we so easily could tell you why you werent ranked. It can depend on zillion factors. So please just do one thing at a time :)

Today the dynamic pages. Tomorrow you search 10 minutes to explain the links mystery. If you dont find anything in 10 minutes, go ahead and make a topic for it. But try the search function first!

As dirkjan said do not just place a post on another thread - go and start a new thread about your link problem
