I am very confuse over this. When I search for my keywords lets give example here "cars" in quotes. First it shows 1 million search results(this is just an example)
then when i click few pages to see more result pages it goes to 1 hundred thousand. Why is this happens and what is the right number million or hundred thousand?

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the "x numbers" already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

SERP matters, and you can get exact number or searches for a keyword via www.semrush.com

Yes it really has 1 million results but when you walk through the entire pages it will omit some results so that you will not see repeated sites with different web pages.

Most relevant results will be not rendered until you have click the link "show all relevant results or something similar to that link, which will appears when you've reached the last result page".

1million is the correct number, but in searches google don't like link harvesting.
