Google search engine question

Up until today I placed first on page 1 for my domain name, now I only appear first if searching under .co.uk and not .com version of google. Any idea why this may be?

I have taken my index page off, and uploaded it again with added meta tags, would that have changed why i dont appear at the top anymore? Is it not weird to appear at the top of the page under .co.uk and not .com?

 

Changing meta tags especially title tag often can lead to such problems. Please read a relevant article covering that issue in my blog.

Normally, the different domains have no distinction on keyword ranking.

 

Look if u have set up the target visitors geographically in google webmaster.

Does the google geo targeting in webmasters work , can you check it without going into webmasters?
