Google search engine optimization

For my website linking is zero as per google.....In google search engine if i type link://http.****.com it is showing no result found. what i have to do get the result .......for a top 10 website ranknigs in google it is a factor . is it correct factor for google ranking

 

do quality link building through blogs,articles....using target keywords..

 

i done through a one blogger.com......from a articles how can i do from the articles.........and also please help me i did the web master tools part of that website.......but there is no result from that point of view...even i created html pages...and place the title and meta keywords .....in that page....and also submitted to google also but there is no response..still what i have to do improve the ranking......and also that keywords are mostly useage keywords in google....example "land in mumbai"

In my website i m placed google custom search engine(gcse). In gcse if i type land it is showing over all 10 results. now i am added 4 new pages with term of land. But in gcse still it is showing 10 results only it is not listing these 4 pages which is i created. What i have to do list that 4 pages.

 

The way you look for links at Google is by typing in "links:site.com". You don't need the http or // or anything like that, and the word needs to be plural.

At Yahoo it is link:site.com.

And you are right about links being important for getting and keeping rankings, so keep building them.

yeah, you type the wrong way,
Site:domain.com
link:domain.com

 

google shows very few links with link command but it shows your all submitted links, once u enter domain name and search.

 

How old is ur site ? work with google webmaster tool and also upload sitemap to it

 

Well you can try inserting popular keywords in your website to improve your ranking...Other options mentioned by members here are equally good & effective along with this method,,,

 

Start doing link building. You can do forum posting, blog commenting and directory submission and some social bookmarking. But do it a decent way. Don't be spammy.
