I have a blog site here. Despite being up for several weeks, but I don't see Google indexing my site at all; despite the fact that I have submitted the URL to Google. What is wrong? Is it because of the .edu.ms domain?
but this page IS indexed already. It probable get filter for main domain (I'm not sure now, it has to be chcecked). Is this an old domain? As I see you moved your site. Is possible duplicate content?
Oh okay, maybe the title is a little misleading. I should clarify further. The domain keith.edu.ms used to have as many as over 100 pages indexed, but the number of pages to be indexed by Google (now including MSN and Yahoo search engines) are falling. Now, there is only one page left!! Yes, I have Google webmaster tool. But, strangely, I can't get the sitemap (sitemap.xml) to be submmited. (I used a Generator sitemap generator, which has been successfully done in other WP installations that I have) An expired domain? I doubt so, if that's the case I might not even be able to login to WP. grg: Yes, that are some contents which are duplicated from the previous blog site. Can that be the reason? I did definitely move my site to this new blog.
My site is up now. Please take a look if you have time. Now you don't even see the site in Google index anymore....
If it is not indexed then wait for some days for google to do that. Well have you submitted the site/blog to dmoz also?? If not do it now. Also submit you website to niche directories.
I think you didn't get the idea. It was initially indexed very well with a hundred over pages in Google. It has been decreasing all of a sudden, and now it's no longer being indexed. And if you asked if I had "re-submitted" the site, well, yes too. I have done that 2 weeks ago.
Well try this: Write one article, something really really amazing, and digg it once. The regular indexation would be in around 30 hours.
Well, I'm not sure if this is a good article, but that article provides the highest traffic of all time for that blog (after submitting to Digg). Unless my article hits the front page of Digg site, it is not going to have any effect on the search engine (I presume). Do you suggest that I write another "amazing" article?
