Google search console 404 errors - External links attached directly after our domain url -Screenshot

Got a few thousand 404 errors from search console about external links attached to our main domain. The links seems to be added directly after our domain in the url structure.Does anyone know how i can fix this? Is there a fix i can do via search console or has the server been hacked? Our IT department says that there hasnt been any kind of URL injections on the server.

 

This happened with my domain also. Spammer just put your website URL to any other website with random value or URL like domaincom/this-garbage-value and when search engine follow them as backlink, result is 404 ..... Just ignore these links.

 

Wont this affect our SEO when just ignoring them? is there a way to remove them? i mean, it cannot be any good to have this list of spam links growing in our search console account, google might think our domain is spam etc?

 

If someone is adding your website link to third party website, then if backlinks is weightfull, Google will count and if spammy then Google will ignore. If these types of backlinks can hurt your SEO then all competitors will build these types of links for his competitors. Just ignore them, they are just taking your server bandwidth nothing more .... You can block that domain or IP if need, from your cpanel to save your bandwidth.
