Google Search Box

    Hi Guys,

    Why do some searches in Google now come back with the brand name, most known, appearing with a secondary search box underneath it?

    i.e search - George Wimpey, Tescos, search box appears under each one to search their sites deeper:

    shown here

    I have looked on-page and can’t see any special coding so is it something to do with google maps maybe?

    I think this is worth knowing and might be good for SEO?

    It is not provided to every site only the sites who fulfills the google conditions will receive this type search box in google serp just below your site. It only appears when a user types your domain name either with or without tlds (Top Level doamin).

    just see the example

    1) "http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=wikipedia&btnG=Search&meta="
    2) "http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=expansys&btnG=Search&meta="
