Google Search BG Colour. Editable after placement?

    Can you specify a different color for the BG of Googles search unit.?

    Why only black or white as options for color there?:confused:

    You break the terms of service if you edit the code by my understanding.

    I would guess that the sparse colour scheme is to help enforce the google brand with similar search boxes as the google home page.
