Have just complied a quick list on how to rank better in google local search engines than the global one (.COM).. I believe those tips are helpful if you want to know how to rank well for any local search like Google.co.uk: Get a .*.uk .TLD (Top Level Domain) Domain name. Host your website in a UK based hosting company with UK IP Address. Beside of building backlinks and adding fresh content: Focus more on getting backlinks from the same .TLD (UK TLD in our case).
