I've been doing a bit of keyword research lately using Google - such as looking up the number of results for different keyword phrases to get an idea of competition. But Google seems to like to throw a spanner in the works by changing results. For some keywords I search for one day it might say there are 2 million results - a few days later it changes it's mind and says there are 50,000. I swear Google is just trying to screw with my head
I think depending on the trafic you won't be using the same DC, so that could be the main reason why the number of results varies like that. HTH
Yes, something has changed. I posted about this yesterday: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=600474 Good to know I'm not the only one.
Yeah, that isn't exactly the norm. Yes the result amounts change but not from 2million to 50k. There would be small changes. There is something bigger going on over at the googleplex that we don' know about at the current moment.
