YouTube used to be my favorite online video site for 3 years. But since Google bought it, things got screwed up. Here's just an example, this happened today when I was searching the music video of "Paper Planes" by "M.I.A." How is it possible, that: 1. When I searched for that video always appear low-quality ones, with a lot of ads in it and with no more than 500 views??? 2. And when I clicked the video that appeared in google's search results, youtube said "This Video Is not Available in your Country"? WTF?!? Why isn't available? Do we, Guatemalans, are stupid enough for not understanding the video? Who is YouTobe for deciding who sees and who doesn't the videos that AREN'T MADE BY THEM!?! 3. Do I have to be forced to use a proxy to watch the video? This is unacceptable!!! 4. Suppose a friend of another country, let's say Germany, uploads a video that wants to share with me... then I can't watch it because of my country?!? All of these wouldn't happen if YouTube wouldn't have been sold to Google... Internet is supposed to communicate people easily, but YouTube (I mean, Google) thinks in a different way... What do you say?
Stop Complaining. Youtube is so big it's nearly impossible to control all the content. The verified youtube accounts for certain Music Record Companies, have an unique ability to limit the country in which the video can be viewed. This is very rare, and most videos can be viewed everywhere. To solve your problem, just choose the same song but uploaded by someone else
