    If you look at the page source of that site you will see...
    <meta name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX, NOFOLLOW" />

    That is why it is still PR9, I guess the people that buy links there, do so for the traffic and not the link juice!

    Cheers

    As tattoos mentioned they use
    <meta name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX, NOFOLLOW" />

    W3C also states this:
    W3C makes no assurances that sites linked from the Supporters program will see improved ranking in search engine results. W3C instructs search engines to ignore links from the Supporters page.

    I understand all the no follow aka lets cover our rear end etc..

    I'm just saying...

    Seems kinda double standardish to me of google....

    A) There selling links.... memberships

    B) To think that W3C would have a huge company's link(adobe) and Generic Vigira link on the same page. and it remain a PR9 is beyond me...

    C) Wonder if the right amount of cash would secure my adult link on that page? Why not they allow pretty much anybody. (Breast Pumps) Hey, W3C I have a paper bag full cash can you ad my "Human Feces Eaters" link to?

    D) Don't you find it ironic, that a site dealing with web standards has none when it comes to link$$$...

    Most of all...

    If I were someone like adobe who was on that page before the new year. I would defiantly have issue with being a major contributor (10K+yearly?) then having my link anywhere near a spammy Generic Viagra link.

    I mean come on, am I really the only 1 that see's that W3C has lost all creditability when you will sell out to nearly anyone. and of course Google would never figure in creditability to page rank... That wouldn't make sense..

    All google has done is created a black market for link sales.... They created this monster, now they are scrambling to fix it.. So maybe DP should change the link sales forum to the "Paid Supports" board. We can all just sell supporter-ships.... No harm no foul right G?

    Now, let me go change my ip before i get tracked and loose PR...lol

    IMHO

    Thanks
