Google says my main page as "default" and "/"

Hi

I have added permanent redirection for my website for non www to www

I don't know because of this or some other reason, Google is saying that I have duplicate contents for the following two pages.

1. "/"
2. "default.asp"

for me, both are the same pages. Does anyone know how to tell google that they both are the same pages?

Have a permanent redirect (301) from http://www.yourwebsite.com/default.asp to http://www.yourwebsite.com/
