I found a 2 word phrase and it is available in .com Typing in google i get around 600,000 results and with "keyword keyword" i get 300,000 results and with "keywordkeyword" i get 240 All you domainers what do you think about this? should i take it? Would you take it based on above details alone? If google says 100,000 average monthly searches what would a more "real" value be? Anyone
I definitely do not take Google Keyword Tool seriously. If you look up that same word on Wordtracker, you'll probably be in for a sore disappointment!
I wouldn't buy just on stats, consider if the phrase has any commercial applications. There are many common 2 word combos that dont work as domain names. If you can think of multiple uses for the name and it has stats like that then you may have a winner
it is realestate related... so maybe only revenue would be google ads on it ? at the same time word tracker showed around 45 a day but some keywords on wordtracker show like 1000 and google shows less... nothing makes sense lol
Sounds promising, real estate is generally a well paying niche but right now everything is all crazy. Why dont you buy it and post it here, if it sucks we'll tell you and you can return it.
Many of the tools use various metrics to arrive at their conclusions and to present you with their data. 600,000 competing websites is above the average recommended number, but if the number of searches is true and you develop this with the right keyword density etc as well as a range of other SEO whitehat techniques, then you may just get that number one position on google and maintain that position to get a very good slice of that traffic. Without seeing the domain though, it is impossible to say. A lot will also depend on your own word smith skills to use the domain (2x keywords) in the body of your blog or website and also whether this represents a good niche also to operate within. There are too many unknowns with your question posed to give you a very direct answer and/or reply here. Best wishes! Mark
