Google Sandbox Experiment

If you start a new website and begin to get backlinks with your main keyword anchor text, then Google knows what keyword you want to target and its going to put it in the sandbox. But if you start your new site with secondary keywords in your anchor text then google is going to sandbox does keywords thinking that does are you main keywords you want to target. And makes you rank faster for you primary keyword.

Many people say they get in the sandbox only with there primary keyword, but rank fast with other low competitive keywords. Then lets reverse this. Don't tell google what keyword you want to target.

When you make you new site don't start getting back-links with you main keyword because google is going to put that keyword in the sandbox. Use other low traffic keywords and later use your main keyword.

I hope my advice helps you guys. :)

Your assumption’s based on wrong logic.

There are various ways for Google to know primary field of your site (secondary backlinks keywords, site’s content, etc…)
From there G can easily derive competitive keywords to sandbox.

The OP had some great thoughts, however I have thought the same things a few years back and did experiments of my own to test it. Google will "not" rank you for you main keywords if you optimize for secondary keywords in your anchor. I still have a 2 year old site in the sandbox for primary keywords even though that this site gets thousands of uniques a day, and has been established as a authority in its field. We still don't optimize for the primary keywords. It's much better to optimize for secondary keywords these days. I.e., hardly anyone just types 'widgets'. People are smarter these days and type 'widgets location colour'.

    Enjoy

There is no such thing as a sandbox. Google says it :)
The current idea is a trustbox. Only if a site gains enough trustpoints it will be well ranked. something like that.

Well Google calls it trustbox and we the webmasters call it sandbox.

I agree completely with this statement. I tried it as well and still wound up in the box for my main phrase.

I got some websites in sandbox for about 6 months.

It Really exists. Wen MSN searches are 10 times the Google searchs, something is really wrong (dah dha! sandboxed)

sorry to be ignorant on this, but what is the logic for google to sandbox you for simply because your new site has banklinks that has your primary or secondary achor text ? isnt that what you are supposed to do, to have back links on other site that have good anchor text ? so why should google sand box you ?

    thanks in advance.
