Radio stations? It can make sense, they already have video, now audio... yep, it can be interesting to watch.
Popular...? I wouldn't say that. Clear Channel has gotten a lot of bad press in the U.S. for the way it handles its radio business. And they do more than just radio. They're the largest (or one of the largest) billboard company--very unpopular with environmental types here. This is contrary to Google's "do no evil" dictum. But who knows, maybe Google can shape them up?
I would be curious how they would track the ads and if they would add that info to Google Analytics. Google is doing very well it seems and they just keep putting more thing out for the business owner as well for the consumer.. I cannot wait to see what’s next. Great Post Thanks
